I need to know how to delete my UPS account from my shipping services. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

It is not possible to completely remove a previously entered UPS account, unfortunately. You can enter a different UPS account from the Shipping Profile, however (if you have a different UPS account that you want to use now). Otherwise, if you don't want to offer UPS at all, you would need to edit the shipping profiles that you are using and remove the UPS shipping carrier options.

Thanks Nathan for that Very Quick Response.
You hit on my problem but when I deleted original shipping policy/method and made a new one with USPS using First Class, Parcel Post & Priority. However, the UPS automatically shows with no avenue to change or delete.
The reason I want to delete UPS is that I think it is interfering with the USPS option in check out. At check out, it shows only the UPS option.
Any other suggestions? Thx,

Hello,

As long as there was no UPS shipping option in the shipping profile for the item at the time that it was purchased from the Vendio Store (or listed to eBay), there should be no UPS shipping option showing during checkout. Please let us know the order number where you are having this problem, so that we can take a closer look.

There is no Purchase or order...I am just now setting up my store, making shipping profiles, etc. When I first started to make up my shipping profile, I added my UPS account to this profile along w/USPS options.

When I try to make a new shipping profile, the UPS account automatically shows up on form.

But now, I've run into another problem. I saved my only shipping profile which shows First Class, Priority and Parcel Post. Of course, the UPS shows up automatically.

When I reviewed/clicked on this profile to review, it doesn't display any USPS info just UPS...If I hit the reload button, it does show usps and ups.

When I tried a Test purchase (on my website), everything is good Except checkout only offers First Class, nothing in drop down box. Then it says can't give a total,there's No Shipping Charge in final check out, and to contact seller.

Go to my website www.specialgiftsource.com and check it out yourself. I only have 1 item marked Test Product.

While this email is being delivered and reviewed, I'm now going back and set up a new shipping profile and see if that will work.

I still would like to remove UPS however if a solution is found. Thx, Richard

This might help us come up w/solution. I just made a new Shipping Profile.

When I clicked on New Profile under Shipping, the page didn't show any options for a shipping carrier (except for my ups account) but when I hit reload, the new page does.

I made a new shipping profile, DOMESTIC, saved and closed. When I brought it back up to edit/review, same as above, showing ups only. When i hit reload, it shows my saved profile w/usps that i had just made.

Tried to buy Test Product. It showed Domestic Shipping but when I tried to calculate charge on listing, it didn't work. So, I proceded to checkout and it gave me my 3 choices for usps but couldn't give total due to No Shipping Charges, said to contact Seller.

Would having to reload page at start of profile above have anything to do w/it?

I still think that the UPS account might be interfering w/set up. Which is why I would like to get rid of it entirely.

Thought your job was going to be easy, huh? )

It's been 24 hours since last question and no response...I have products coming in from China and Japan and need this problem resolved so I can start listing.

FYI I'm already 10 or so days into my Trial Period and would like to see my Store up and running smoothly before I commit to your service. Thx, Richard

While waiting on above answer,I used this time to set up a profile to list on ebay and store. When I tested product, i'm still having same problem with shopping cart calculating shipping charges. Done for tonight but hope I receive some help by tonight so I can work and resolve this problem. Thx, Richard

Hello Richard,

While the UPS account will continue to show on the profile pages, as long as you do not enter UPS as a shipping option it should not be offered as a shipping option to your buyers. That UPS section is simply showing your default UPS settings, should you decide to offer UPS as a shipping option at some point in the future.

I checked your current shipping profiles, and none of them are currently showing UPS as a shipping option. If this is not what you are seeing, please let us know the name of the shipping profile you are having trouble with, so that we can take a look.

The problem you are having with the calculated USPS shipping is currently being worked on by our engineers, and we expect to have it corrected shortly.

Thanks Nathan, That does explain about UPS and you are right, it's not showing up as option as it had done in the past.
Appreciate the info about the shipping calculator and will check back with the test products until it's fixed.

Thank You Nathan and CONGRATULATIONS to the Technical team that fixed the shipping calculator. Everything is working fine now. As soon as I can get (working on it) the combined items to calculate w/total weight, I'll be in business. Thank You again for the Wonderful Customer Service.
