I was trying to change my name on my Paypal account (I got married), and couldn't find the link for that. I sent email to Paypal customer service and got a reply to go to the "contact us" link and look for "change my name" in the drop down menu. There is no "change my name" in the drop down menu, that is where I went in the first place. I replied to the reply saying it still was not there, and got an identical reply. The "change my name" is NOT in that drop down menu, and I seem to be stuck in an endless circle of asking the same question and getting the same wrong answer. I am waiting for my account to get closed because the name on Paypal doesn't match the name on my bank account.

I have this issue coming up too - do keep us posted if you get it resolved - if I figure out a way to do it, I'll let you know too.

Follow up - If you go into the "help" screen, under Account Basics, My Profile, you find the following:<br> <br>
How do I view or edit my account information, including my email address, street address, phone number, credit card and checking account?
Your account information can be viewed from the Profile subtab of the My Account tab. You can also edit all of this information except the name on your account. In order to prevent fraud, name changes must be made by individual request by contacting Customer Service.
So according to this, there IS not a name change feature on the Paypal board at all - you must send email to customer service to request they change your name. I sent my email to them last night, and we'll see when they get back to me.

edited to add, I have none of those tabs you mention in your post. Perhaps because mine is a personal account?

Hmmm... I don't know about that... I only know that's the path I took to find the information.
Prepare to be very patient though - I've been trying to get my fax through all morning and its just ringing busy - I am guessing because its a Monday....
