I have a "situation" I want to share with you. A little background.
When I list on Ebay, I launch batches using Mister Lister and then relist the auctions through Vrane's Power Relister until that particular item is out of stock, or until I decide to pull that line of inventory from Ebay.
A group of trading cards closed on June 12th and were relisted in this manner. No problem. They closed on June 19th, and those that either didn't sell or were relisted even though successful because I have more in stock were relisted in this manner. Billpoint payment logos were inserted into my auctions. ?????
A couple of tests last night (including manually relisting a couple of auctions and manually starting a couple of new auctions) has led me to the following conclusion: Sometime between June 12th and June 19th, Ebay changed my selling preferences to include Billpoint logos in my auction listings. I am a Billpoint registered seller, but as I participate in the Paypal Preferred Program, I have chosen to NOT include their logos in my listings. I spent over an hour last night manually revising 51 auctions to remove the Billpoint Logos so I remain in compliance with my agreement with Paypal.
My concern is anyone who either doesn't pay close attention and proof their listings carefully, or who use Vrane's Power Relister will not notice this, and begin inserting unwanted Billpoint Logos into their auctions.
I am now hopefully back in compliance unless Ebay has messed with my auctions again. 8(

Pat - thanks SO much for directing me there. I use Mister Lister and Vrane instead of AW for listing/relisting so I don't check that forum out very often.. its SOO Nice to know its not just me. 8)

The unwanted Billpoint logo and option showed up in my auctions even though I use Auction Watch. I have cancelled my account and now Billpoint's customer service says it will take 10 days! I have been unable to revise my listings all morning (except for one). I hope that PayPal sues Billpoint for this monopolistic action on the part of eBay.
