Trying to get a ship to address to "take" at PayPal. It is unsafe to have merchandise delivered to my home address and I long ago had my work address added as a valid "ship to" on my credit card. But now no one will ship to my work address because it's not my "bill to" address. Is there a solution? I've tried paying with my bank account and with funds that were paid to me for sales, but nothing seems to work.
I would explain to the seller the reason we ask for shipping to a billing address is to lower the risk factor for the seller. However, the seller still has the option of shipping to an address outside of the billing address, but they will incur potential charge back liability if it goes to a different address.
I would recommend pointing to feedback and other items in order to overcome this.
We are looking at alternative address verification, but there are a fair number of barriers to it.
