Hi Damon. Please help me. I have been having a problem with PayPal and can't seem to get it resolved. Do you have a toll-free number that I can call to tell you what the problem is? I have sent 2 messages to PayPal service, and I received 2 canned and unhelpful replies that showed that no live person at PayPal ever read my e-mails. Please help. I can write up the problem in a few paragraphs, but I would prefer speaking to some live person. I am so sorry that I cannot afford the long-distance calls to California!

Hi badcompany,
I don't have a toll-free number in California, but I can assist if you send an email to [email protected]. Please be sure to include the transaction in question and the nature of the problem.

I am verified. It will not allow me to post credit card for address confermation. It says CC is disabled. I have sold alot but its the first time I have bought anything. I have money in my acc. It wont verify my address witch it has. Buyer got his money but not my address. I have no problems with my credit at all I am A1. Is this a ploy to make you get a premier acc.? Ted

Hi bosco3,
The account type has nothing to do with verification of the credit card. The credit card goes through a screening process to deter fraud and yours is probably (without the records, I can't tell) running into an issue with the address verification.
It could be several things-
1. If you have a debit card many banks don't release the address.
2. The address being released does not match in some way. I would check with the authorizations department.
3. A rare issue, but one that can happen, is if the address released contains a numeric word (such as second versus 2nd---it may show on the statement one way, but the authorization is released another).

paypaldamon,
I have had my visa sence 1992. I dont have a debit card. I think my wife might tho. The card is in my name. I have been at the same address for 10 years. It is in your files. I opened my account with my bank account. I am verified! But you will not give out my address. The seller got his money but not the address. He emailed me reguesting my address. Now his email will not go thru for the past 3 days. So he dont have my address to ship to.What the heck am I verified for?

Hi bosco3,
I can see if ops can assist if you send me your account email address to [email protected]. It will make it a fair amount easier to see where the problem could be.
