This is a first for me. I received a payment in my Paypal account with an e-check with instructions to wait 3 or 4 days until funds have cleared. What is this, I can't find anything about e-check on Paypal site. Thanks,
Echeck is a payment that is made from a user's bank account. The user requests an echeck and it initiates an add funds request to their account (typically---this process is 3-5 business days) and the money is placed in the recipients account once this has cleared in from the sender's bank account.
Echecks can be canceled before clearance and it is why we recommend waiting for the payment to settle before shipping product.
