Has anyone noticed how defensive and unprofessional Damon has become in some of his responses? He used to be this nice customer service representative who answered all our questions, now he attacks everything you say or ask. What's up with that?
I am still trying to remain professional, but I am will admit to being a little burnt out at the moment. I also hope that users realize that I am not attacking (as much as I am trying to educate or correct misinformation).
I do, however, take offense when people start posting erroneous information about the service or when they start spreading rumors about it. This causes a fair amount of undue stress for other members of the community and I will try to address these issues whenever possible (and it is why I try to post information information at times).
That...and I probably need a vacation
I could give a more thorough description of what I do and perhaps it will let users know why I am out here---if that would help.
Sorry if I do seem cranky, but the past several days have been fairly stressful and I do apologize if anyone has taken offense.
I can assure you, having worked with the people in customer service and the heads of the department, that they are all good, hard-working people that try to do the best job they can. In some ways---they have it tougher than I do because that is not my primary job.
