I'm not having a lot of luck trying to get our inventory converted over to the AWPro program. The AWPRO program just isn't built for the kind of quantity we work with (Over 20,000 products)
Is there a way to upload a spreadsheet or formatted text file directly to AW for importing into our AW Storefront, bypassing the AWPRO program entirely?
We do this now withour Amazon zShop by using Amazon's bulk loader system.
Is this an available option? If not, it really should be!

Hello Replaymedia,
What we have is an import feature in Ampro, this will allow you to import items you have created in an excel file into your offline inventory in Ampro.
Once the items have been imported in, you can then transfer them into batches and designate them to launch to your storefront. This will then act as the bulk lister to your storefront.
To access the importer in Ampro, click on "Tools>inventory importer"

also, how do I put in all of my descriptions? Do I just use different Excel columns? I sell quilts which come in different sizes and need detailed descriptions. I want to be sure that I do this right the first time, as I have about 500 different styles and each comes in 3 sizes, plus matching accesories.
Please help me to utilize my StoreFront to its fullest extent!

I was afraid you would say that. I wanted to avoid the whole AWPro program- it just isn't suited for importing items into the storefront.
A) There's no way to setup a storefront category in the spreadsheet- There are columns for Yahoo, Amazon & Ebay, but no way to set a store category ahead of time. Each one has to be manually entered in an annoying pop up window.
B) There would be no "Purge & Replace" option. Anything sold in our retail store would have to manually removed one item at a time though the website- and at several hundred items a day, this would be logistically impossible.
Don't get me wrong- I like AWPRO and use it for AUCTIONS all the time. But it hasn't evolved to be 100% useful with AW Stores yet.
