After listing a single item to an auction , and it does not sell. I would like to then place/move that item into my store from the closed list. That is so I dont have to rewrite the whole listing again. Is this possible ?

To do this you will need to get the item to your inventory. The easiest way to get it to inventory is to select it from closed, and hit the Relist button. On the relaunch page, hit Edit and select the option that allows you to save the item to your inventory. Save the change you made. When you go back to the relaunch page you can cancel the relist because all you needed to do was get that auction to your inventory. Next, go to your inventory and you should see that auction. Edit the auction and fill out the Storefront Information tab to get it in your storefront as a fixed price auction.
