Is there any way to choose the location of a picture in a storefront listing? It seems that most items are along the left side but sometimes they are centered. I am trying to create a uniform listing template for all store listings and would prefer all pictures to be centered and at the top of my listing. When the item description is lengthy you wind up with a picture on the left and a long narrow string of text to the right of the image. Is there a way to add html to my template that will put the image where I want it?

Hello,

You can specify the location of your images, but only if you were to use your own HTML in the item description box and the images URL to make the placement. There are a few HTML savvy users that use our stores in this manner.

You will however still want to attach at least one image through our system, so it appears in the preview next to the title.

Hi Christopher. I am able to use html to place the picture myself. The problem is if I do this then the picture will not show up along side the store listing. If I use html to place a picture as well as use the AW picture then I end up with 2 pics and a horrible looking listing. What would be ideal is an option to place our images where we like (like we can with the templates).

Thanks
Darren (vianett)

Hi Darren,

I will log a suggestion with product development for you, for the ability to place pictures in other areas.

Regards,

Sonya

Here is a thought...how about those who are not "savvy"? I too would like to have some consistency in the storefronts. Also, why can't we use some color or something. My storefront is BORING once you get past the first page. HELP...and thanks.

Picture placement is one of the main reasons that I cannot justify keeping my store open. I couldn't take advantage of just using the same html description in my auctions and in my store. I had to use a different html discription for the store because of image placement problems. Double work.

The system should be set up to allow the option of omitting the AW hosted picture insertion in the main description, but allow it to ONLY appear in the store listing next to the item title text.
