Just want AW to know that I am more than pleased with my Storefront. I probably get an extra $200 weekly just from the check-out system. Signing up with Google has also greatly increased my sales but at quite a price! Lately, my customers additional orders are not being combined with their eBay wins, which means I have to contend with two invoices, combined shipping problems, etc. Any explanation why this might be happening? Worked great in the beginning. And yes, they're ordering using the same email address as they use for eBay wins. Does it have something to do with winner filling out the check-out info then going back and trying to add Storefront items? I, too, have a number of orders that are "abandoned" or cancelled and hope the FVF refund system is in place SOON so I can just archive those orders and not have to figure out which ones to send yet another payment reminder to.

Suggestions: It would be most helpful if Inventory and Storefront info could all be done from the Sales Manager Pro listing page. I've clicked on the Inventory screen while doing a new listing, but have no idea how to use it and the "Help" is no help.As it is, I can add an item and its quantity to my Storefront while doing a listing but in order to be able to use the Inventory system as a quick way to relist repeat items, I have to go into Inventory at AW and manually type in quantity and file in proper Inventory & Storefront files for each new item. This is VERY time consuming. Am I'm missing "an easier, softer way?" Also, I have mostly repeat items so when I go to adjust number of items at Storefront, I have to click n click n click n click to get to number I want. I'm getting carpel tunnel syndrome just thinking about it! Any way to make it so we can just type in number of items rather than having to click up to 50 each time?!?! That process is used for putting in quanity in inventory, starting bid prices, Storefront prices, etc so why not for quantity at Storefront?
Another suggestion: any way to make the WBN (misnomer) for Storefront orders sound more like an order has been received, not like the customer WON something? I'm sure this is confusing for some buyers. And a way to edit the "order received notice" without having to delete all the "winning" references?

Opps! Another question....I recently started offering a "dynamite" shipping rate: up to 10 items for $3.85. In spite of the fact that I state clearly at my Storefront that multiple item orders MUST go Priority, buyers invariably choose First Class and I either get stuck with the additional shipping charge or have to badger my customers for an additional $1.60. If they use PayPal to send me $1.60, it costs me close to $.50 to receive the additional payment. So what's the question?!?! Even though I changed my SF preferences to say I only ship Priority for $3.85, the individual Storefront items still show First Class being an option. Would I have to go in and manually delete First Class from every single item and, if so, what purpose do the shipping preference function serve? Also, someday postage will increase again (one thing we can ALL count on). When that happens, will each listing have to have shipping amounts adjusted. That would take a month of Sundays! My suggestion: come up with a function that will allow certain changes to be made to multiple listings at one time.....
I don't know about the rest of you sellers, but I sell small, inexpensive items and by the time the profit pie is cut up between eBay, AW, PayPal (eBay, ERRRR!)Google, product cost, etc. there's not much left to consider PROFIT so saving time certainly is a BIG factor.
Thanks for listening. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated,
Katie aka Princess Papoola

Hello papoola,

I'm glad to hear that your Store is working for you. I am not sure why your customers' orders are not being combined properly - if they add the items to their order as they check out, the order should combine both auction and fixed-price items. If they completed the order for the auction item, then went back and ordered more from the Store separately, then there would be two separate orders which would need to be manually combined.

The FVF refund system for Store purchases should be in place very shortly (possibly tomorrow morning.)

As for Inventory/Store from Pro, you can save your listings to Online Inventory from Pro - this is an option in your preferences. In Pro, go to Edit -> Preferences -> Business Tools. You can do this for the time being, while you learn how to use Pro inventory. As far as the clicking to increment the Qty. in Store, I am not sure why that is configured as it is, but I believe it is a safeguard to prevent an erroneous number from being entered.

The messages in Post-Sale can be edited with whatever text you prefer - this can be done under My Account -> Post Sale Mgt. Options. Note that the %%winner%% identifyer will import the buyer's ID or email address, it will not display the word "winner".

Unfortunately, for the shipping question - I believe that the changes you make in preferences will only apply to items which have not been scheduled/listed, and future items. You will need to edit the site-specific info in your existing inventory items to remove the First Class option.

I hope this helps answer your questions. I will definitely log your suggestions and pass them along to our Product department.

Thanks!

Diana
