Under Inventory Management, when I view the Basic Details page of an item, there is a check box in the upper right corner for PROFILE ITEM.
Other than highlighting the items description in yellow on my inventory page, what exactly does checking this box do for the item?
Thanks for explaining this. (I'll add it to my personal "stores for dummy" list...lol)

Hello Greg,
When you make an item a profile item, you can apply all of that items details to any new item you create from the Sales Manager tab. The create listing link will show you all of your profiles currently saved, and allow you to pick either a new listing (default) or apply the details from any of your profile items.
