I use HTML for all of my auctions and have aligned the HTML to use with my StoreFront template. All of my auctions are launched from AW and I prefer the images to show as Centered and Split. If I have only one image it is at the top... any additional images are at the bottom and side-by-side.

I am now learning to place some of my items into my store inventory by uploading through SMPro to my store. I see that once I then launch an auction from the store inventory with a single image the auction HTML looks great with my store template (just as if I launched direct from SMPro). Will this also hold true if I have more than one image for the inventory item?

I am also concerned about the look of the inventory item when it is just at the storefront. The image is on the left and my HTML text is all scrunched on the right side. Are there settings for my storefront that I'm just not seeing?

I want the store and the auction to look the same... like any of my current auctions with the storefront template.

Thanks for your help,

Greg Williams

Hi Greg!

I noticed the same thing! Sometimes my pics are CENTERED at the top of my store item & sometimes the pic IS scrunched way over to the LEFT -- looks goofy!

There appears to be no rhyme nor reason to this, as all my pics are crunched to 400 X something < 400 PLUS, I have tried fiddling around with the SELLERS PREFERENCES tabs -- makes NO difference.

What I now do: I add a cute jpg or gif to my pics for STORES thusly: 1 NORMAL PIC + 1 GIF + 1 DUPLICATE NORMAL PIC.

Now everything is centered at the TOP over my store listings with "ZOOM" under each pic -- I think it looks a lot better now...take a peek & tell me what yowse guys tink

Those look good and definitely aligns everything - works great for a work around but seems this should be a simple fix with a setting for us to adjust at the storefront.

I've fiddled with all of the preference settings for the store too and found nothing to make this change. Hopefully AW will have an answer for us.

BTW, Nice items that you have for sale. You may want to check the spelling in the title for the following one though:

Just wanted to point it out so Froogle picks it up correctly for you!

Thanks!

Hello

I dont know if anybody knows this but you can customize the way your storefront looks. You can use html not only where the items discription is shown but also at the top of your categories...

Example...

http://www.bigcitycollectables.com

Just click on a category link and then you will see the html I used to customize the way the page looks.I added logos of the items I am selling.

I dont know,I just figured this out like 3 weeks ago and figured I wasnt the only one that wasnt aware of this.

bigcitycollectibles:

Looks Good! Nice Job! I'm studying your HTML code just to see where you put everything. Don't worry, I'll make my own - I never use other peoples hard work.

BTW, anyone know what the HTML code is that locks users out from View Source? <g> I'll just search and find it somewhere. Problem is that you can't View the Source for the code on the pages that use it! lol

Think I'm going to use it on all my hard work. Happy to share if people ask, but just don't want it there free for the taking.

That's for the hearing impaired.

I get that way sometimes... you got to remember that society (i.e. customers) don't know how to read (won't read)... that's why pictures are important. LOL

Great ideas in this thread, but I'm still waiting to hear from AW regarding my original post.

How 'bout it guys? Care to take a stab at it?

Greg,

The code to add pics is real simple..

<IMG SRC="http://edit.store.yahoo.com/I/jivetoys_1729_20670556">

And if you want to center the pic just add..

<CENTER> before the code

Oh yea by the way, this part of the code is the address the pic is located at.
