To satisfy your curiosity , I am not happy that my email address is exposed on the storefront , we receive tons of spam as is and froogle will be driving more spammers than customers , there are spam sweatshops that paypeople to find target margeted emails. So you should make the exposed email optional

If you search for your user name in google you will find all of the posts that are here in this forum. Additionally addresses are gleaned from eBay and every other square inch of the web. Turning off traffic to your site is like not having a site.

Please note that we have changed the Store email address display to be optional.
To remove the display of your email address, go to your Store Manager Page, go to Edit Properties -> Contact Information, and select the check box to NOT display your email address in your store. Buyers will still be able to send email to you through the Contact Us | Feedback/Questions form in your Store.
