Is AW still sending our Store info to Froogle or has the Beta-test ended?

I still receive no hits at my AW Store and I still haven't made the first sale.

I continue to ad things to my store so 741 store items with 12-15 keywords in EACH item's description should by now bring at least one hit.
------

I realize that AW customer service is reluctant to address any and all of my questions for some reason. But please let us ALL know the status on this.

Regards,

Greg Williams

Hi Greg,

Sorry to hear of your lack of Sales.

Have you tried looking for any of your items at Froogle?

I went to your storefront, checked out the first item I saw, then went to froogle to search for part of the title.

This was what came up. The first item in the list of results is one of your items - the exact item I was trying to find.

Um Greg. The counter in you're store will not change unless a visiter goes to you're front page.People probobly are visiting you're store there just not clicking the home link.

Our Auctionwatch store is listed in search engines on the first page of every search and we get alot of sales. Our counter number rarely changes.

Its becouse when they click on our link it takes them to the item they were searching for and not the front page

Christopher:

Thanks, yes I have done that, and I receive positive results too. Guess my sales may pick up as I tweak things along. It's really discouraging though.

Now, you mentioned you searched in Froogle for "part of the title". Okay, I can accept that. Titles are important

Okay, I just spent time searching all 22 of the keywords that I have entered in Store Wizard location for keywords. I now have a much better understanding after searching those keywords out.

My apologies for not noticing the trickle down before. What I mean is that Froogle "picks up" from Title text first, ranks and displays those, and then keyword text, and on down to page text - which can really be down there or not showing at all on Froogle listings.

Sorry for my misunderstanding of just how Froogle was looking to all of this.

Now I see that Title Construction may be more critical than I previously understood it to be anyway.

Thanks Christopher!

Greg

bigcitycollectables:

Thanks for pointing that out... I never considered that (boy, I think someone else's age is catching up with me).

That makes sense - I knew that if they click the link from a search it takes them directly to the item - but never considered the store counter and it's relation to only the Home Page. I knew that too, as much as I use counters... key there is "page counter" not entire website visitor counts.

Boy... If someone could just help me figure out a way to embarrass myself further. LOL

Thanks for setting me straight on that.

Greg
