I'm thinking of opening a Vendio store to go along with my never ending eBay auctions and just wondering how it's going for others that have one. If you're selling anything out of it.
Thanks in advance

Actually, I am moving my store to an OSCommerce powered storefront. Much better look and feel.
Nothing against Vendio, it's nice to be able to integrate your auction and storefront together. I just needed amore customizable alternative.

Sales have been extremely less than anticipated with all the hoopla regarding Froogle feeds.
I think I've had about 10 sales in the last month (to 3 or 4 customers).
Just now starting to pick up but I can see that I can't rely on the Froogle feed due to Vendio's limitations on MetaTags and keywords et. al. - I'll have to jumpstart it out of my own pocket through AdWords or something.
Don't get me wrong - Vendio Store is a great value - but it's like art on the wall at the moment - nice to look at... but ONLY if you know about it!
Once I get my store inventory up where I want I'll meander back to eBay auctions and pull some visitors that way... at least a few anyway.
"If you build it... they will come." (but only with diligence, advertising and MORE advertising!...location, location, location.)

My store sales are at a standstill. Just wanted to see how many visitors would come looking if I didn't do anything else.
I could count them on my left hand with 3 fingers missing. (no offense to anyone).
But hey... I've got a heck of an art gallery happening!

I have about 400 items listed in my store for over a year, and have only sold about 10 things out of it in the last year. I feel that Vendio should do more to help promote our stores from the auction pages. Ebay has the cute little "stores" tag that sits right up there in the customers face next to the users name and feedback. It is easy for them to click it on and go directly to the ebay stores. I feel that Vendio could come up with a better way to help those sellers who use and pay for their services, to promote their stores from the auctual auction page, where the traffic is to view it. I have tried soooooo many different ways to promote my store, but nothing seems to be working. I almost feel that the items I put in the store are DEAD, and if I get a sale from the store, I have experienced a MIRACLE!!! I thought that maybe it was just me, but from reading the other responses here, I guess many of us are all a bit frustrated with the results from our stores on Vendio. I am honestly considering going to Ebay stores as my storefront and giving it a try.
