Does anyone hav a good suggestion on how to get traffic to their storefron? I thought that it was only me maybe, but as I read other comments, I see that many people who have the Vendio stores are frustrated with sales and traffic. I am just wondering if anyone has found a way to increase traffic to their storefront. I advertise it absolutely every chance I get but nothing seems to help. It seems like the storefront is just a BLACK HOLE that I submit items to and they just sit there and rot!! I have had about 10 sales in the last year, with an average of 400 items in the storefront at a time. Vendio is now going to support Ebay Stores, why don't they do something to help the people who pay them every month and do something to help them? Ebay has those cute little red "stores" sign that is right there in the customers face next to the user name and feedback numbers. Vendio needs to come up with something similar to be "in your face" with our Vendio stores too...Maybe we should all go to Ebay stores if Vendio is so hell bent on helping them out before their own customers....ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREAT!!!

Your store looks great.

Your auctions are quite busy. Mine are, too. But I break up the verbiage and use my "About Me" page as a portal to the store.

Rather than say a lot (like a contract), I'd say something like "for free shipping and handling, visit my other auctions..." etc. and that's it. I use a back and forth marquee, and a link. Quick. I believe on the auction page, as the old saying goes, just sell the sizzle, not the bacon. A grabber and a link.

I put a lot of lines in the water. On the bottom of my auctions, I have about 4-5 links to either my Ebay store, my Vendio store or my About Me page. All separated.

Give them too much to read, especially unbroken with pix, their eyes will glaze over immediately.

I am redoing the "About Me" page now (as well as all my auctions) but I found that once I emphasized the "about me" page (Ebay won't let you emphasize your Vendio store), I was freer to lure to the store and my store sales picked up.

Once I got maybe 2-3 a month. Now I get a couple every day and I am redoing everything because I know it could be a lot better.

The biggest mistake I think some people make on the auction page is to turn it into a contract. "Only Serious buyers"; "You must contact me within 3 days or I'll neg you" (I've seen that!).

If it isn't sizzle, don't use it.

Sellers are going to get burned occasionally. Putting these contractual clauses on an auction page isn't going to stop it.

I learned HTML so I could do colors and tricks, anything to catch the eye because if I don't catch it in five seconds, it's gone.

These are just musings. Your e-mail caught my eye because I was once completely frustrated by the lack of action at the Vendio store.

It still isn't worth much, but it's worth something.
