to the Vendio store format? Maybe a way to customize the look and feel of the store more?

Hello,

If you let us know what you are interested in, in terms of store customization, I will forward your feedback to Product Development for consideration. As you know, we make our changes based on feedback from our customers so your opinion and feedback is very important.

Regards,

Sonya

Well, I don't use the store any more because I needed more.

Things like:
More space (or even pages) for store policies.

I set up an account with 2Checkout, support for some of the 3rd Party CC services.

Maybe a way to change the layout (at least some). Not a big fab of cookie cutter storefronts.

If I think of more, I'll post them.

I can help!

Store Functionalities Desperately Needed!:

- User-friendly (a real good) Search in Store (Search Field) - My customers can't find what they want!

- Global price change ability (instead of the current per-item-time-consuming-change)

- Global shipping fees/selection change (instead of the current per-item-time-consuming-change) - need to be fully selectable by line item. This needs to be done before the next Postal Rate increases!

- HTML Customizable Website Portal so Store Owners can create their OWN storefront - (Recommend Vendio look at partnering with Starfield Technologies at www.starfieldtech.com and see about offering this capability direct through Vendio. -- the product is Website Tonight or preferred Website Complete.) This would propel Vendio forward in the Store functionality area!

- Deleting the quantity numbers to the left of the product categories.

- Providing Categories with Sub-Categories to make the left side of the store look more professional - with 100+ categories important information such as Auction Gallery, Bookmark Our Store, and Email are pushed way down out of view.

- A higher priority for addressing and updating concerns expressed regarding the Store functionality.

Greg

Thanks Greg, that's a nice list of features. I'd have to seriously consider re-opening a Vendio store is that was implemented.

Thanks Seth!

Most of these items have been brought up numerous times in the last year or so. Just hope some focus is given to the stores and store owners by development in the very near future.

It's definitely long overdue, but all we can do is continue to suggest and lodge our complaints - maybe they will eventually be heard (and listened to).

Good luck!

Greg

Good ideas Greg.

I'd mainly like to see more customization features to allow one to mix the site up more. And more room to add text that's a must.

Thanks!

I'm currently building an expanded website (through the tools mentioned above) whose primary focus is to capture and guide the customer to my Vendio store.

I currently have that going on with my present portal page, but the site I am creating is greatly enhanced. Hopefully I will have it active by August 1st, or earlier.

I keep telling myself, "if I build it, they will come". (but not without a lot of effort!)

Vendio could build something like Moo has for there stores. Actually, Moo Stores use OSCommerce, which is what I use for my storefront. It's very customizable, especially if you have access to the code.

Hey Sonya,

How about the ability to plug the store into html frames. I'm not suggesting that browsers aren't made aware of the fact that Vendio is serving up the site, just that it would be nice to be able to host the site elsewhere without having to simply create links. Sales would be greater and revenue greater for Vendio if Storefront user's sites were made more "sticky". Without the browser leaving the website that supports the storefront just makes sense.
