This is in reference to searching all of the Vendio Stores - and does NOT pertain to the limited seach field found within an individual store:

PERCEIVED PROBLEM: Vendio is suppressing search results on stores that DO NOT have items at auction. - Stores that DO have items at auction are listed in the Vendio Store Search Results as first priority. This search result is biased and completely unfair to the store owners that do not have auctions listed on any venue!

ANALYSIS: Go to Stores Search and search for anything you like, then look at the two lines of small print at the very bottom which read:

"To get the latest bid price for an item, please click the auction listing.
In the interests of accuracy and timeliness, Stores Search focuses on auctions nearing completion."

SUGGESTION: Recognize this is a STORES SEARCH, which means ALL stores - not just stores with items at auction - Stop oppressing the store owners and work WITH us please! Realign the STORE SEARCH to retrieve results in direct support of the item being searched for...period!

I was totally shocked when I read that statement that informed me that my store doesn't even stand a chance even at Vendio and within Vendio's own search function!

All we ask for is an equal opportunity for our store's to survive yet it is apparent that Vendio doesn't support us in this manner regarding our stores. Please strongly reconsider your approach to Store Management overall.

Hi Greg,

I will look into this -- as you know, Stores Search used to be called Universal Search, back when auction items were included in searches so that statement might be left over from those days. It is not a target towards store owners.

Sonya

Thanks for checking on this Sonya. So I understand that this is not the case? That all stores are scanned equally and there is no bias on the returned results?

Thanks,
