What does everyone do when they go on vacation for a couple days or so? All my auctions are ending Sunday and I've got notices on my "me" page and Vendio store that I'll ship whatever's been paid for by 9/27 but that I won't be available at all from 9/29 to 10/2. And I'll put a note in my post-sale management emails and out of my AOL account to that effect, too.
My "me" page really drives the traffic to my Vendio store and my auctions drive traffic to my "me" page so I don't really see a point in closing my store for the few days I'll be gone -- don't want to freak any customers out, having them think I closed up shop -- but I also don't want anything to get messed up.
Any suggestions and/or horror stories? I've done things this way in the past when I've been gone just a few days and it's worked out okay but I always like to re-think the decision every time it comes up.

Hi Forgetmenot1,
Interesting problem. Actually we are delighted to hear that your eBay "about me" page drives traffic to your Vendio store and vice-versa.
The simplest method would be to modify your WBN message to buyer and state that you will not be able to deliver the marchandise while you are away on vacation. After you come back, you may revert the change. Just visit the MyAcct -> PostSaleMgt page and make this small changes to the section titled: "Winning Bidder Notification (WBN) Email"
