Does the search feature in the store only find words that match those in the titles and not in the text? thanks.

When you do a search on Stores, you'll notice the check box for "Search both title & description".

If you select this feature you can control the area you want to search. Default is title only.

Hi. I meant my personal store search box. I don't see a checkbox for title and description.

The store search field on your store only searches title. Sorry for the confusion.
