I maintain both an ebay store and a Vendio store. Many of the items listed in my Vendio store are also listed in the ebay store.

I have begun the task of listing the ebay store items with Sales Manager. When I list ebay store items with Sales Manager, they appear as Auction Gallery items in my Vendio store (Auction Gallery - 19 ebay auctions).

I currently have no ebay auctions and if a Vendio customer were to go to the Auction Gallery items, she would be directed to the ebay store. I would think that the Auction Gallery should contain only auction items not store items.

Can this be fixed?

Hello,

I will forward this to Product Development. The Vendio Store displays all items that are listed on eBay in an eBay gallery in the store, even though they may be eBay Store items.

I do hope this problem can be remedied. In the meantime, I guess I will not list ebay store items through Store Manager as I only want auction items to be displayed in the Auction Gallery.

I'm not sure as to what will happen with this problem. Should I wait a reasonable time for this situation to be corrected? Or, should I continue to list my ebay store items separately without Sales Manager?

Hello,

If you don't want your eBay store items appearing in your Vendio Store in the eBay Auction Gallery, you will have to list your eBay store items outside of Vendio. Anything launched from Sales Manager will appear in your Vendio store.

Sonya:

Thank you for your prompt replies. Nonetheless, I am at a loss to understand why Vendio would turn away revenue. I have listed 19 items in my ebay store through Store Manager for which I was charged 10 cents a listing. Plus there is the future final value fees that these items would bring at time of sale. I have a few hundred items that I wish to list in the same way.

Further, I tried to track another parties auction from ebay using the Vendio tracking system. Guess what? The tracked item appeared in my store's Auction Gallery. It appears that the store Auction Gallery will list any ebay item that is listed in the sales manager active category. So, if I wanted to use Vendio tracking to watch/track auctions from other vendors on ebay, they would be listed in my store under Auction Gallery. Does this seem correct? In this instance, it appears that a Vendio store owner could not utilize the auction tracking option. Which is unfortunate, because that means that the store owner is dependent upon the ebay system, while the non-store owner is not.

Moreover, if I delete my ebay store item listing from my Vendio active file, it is removed from my vendio store, but remains active on ebay (with picture). What and why?

I am sure that I am not the only one who would like to have two stores. I happen to have enough inventory to fully stock both stores. I do not want to have inventory tracked separately at two different sites. Nor do I want to deal with the two different post sale systems. It is just too difficult to sort inventory, answer mail, prepare invoices, etc.

Each store has its pluses. My ebay store appears in a google search, while my Vendio store appears in a Froogle search. Ebay is a trusted site, with much traffic, where buyers feel somewhat protected, while Vendio buyers, although coming from ebay, may not feel the same. Plus while my Yahoo auctions are listed in my Vendio store, they are not listed in the ebay store. Since I have chosen Vendio as my back room operation, I find that I am restricted in the options available to me.

It appears that I have three options: (a) close the Vendio store; (b) close the ebay store; or (c) begin a search for a site that offers both options to me. In the meantime, I will close out the ebay store items listed through Vendio, as these items are ebay store items, not auction items, and they do not belong in the Auction Gallery.
