Hi,
I have recently switched over from another auction service provider and notice 2 features that are missing with Vendio compared to the other company:

1)The option to have my domain name linked to my Vendio store URL. (IE: type in my domain and it directs the browser to Vendio store)

2)The option to create a seperate listing for the same item to differentiate from an auction listing and a storefront listing.
(IE:if you use words such as "bidding" or "auction" or "eBay" in your listing, you dont want those words if someone is shopping directly from a storefront)

Any plans down the line for anything like this?
Thanks

Well, the first question is something you can do. You can set up a forwarding domain service or redirect page in HTML with your service provider. Contact the company that is issuing your domain and/or your hosting company.

The other question is simple as well. You can cross promote between the Ebay auctions and the Store items you have for sale. But this is only a feature. You will not be required to do this. If you choose not to, you can prevent traffic at one site seeing the items at the other.

How do you separate them, to prevent someone visiting your store from seeing your eBay listings as well. I have a website and might want to just link to the storefront items without them knowing I sell on eBay too.

How does the Gallery inserted into ebay direct customers to view your storefront items?

Let me clarify that my previous post. For the second answer...

You can opt to NOT cross promote between your store and your Ebay auctions. Then you can create items in your Inventory (store only) and list them on your store. Then you can create your Ebay auctions (with cross promoting disabled) to list to Ebay. So yes, you can create inventory items for your store that aren't on Ebay.

The Gallery will list your Ebay Store and Ebay Auction items but not your Vendio Store items. The only setting here is in which order you want them to be displayed.

Auctions - Store Items

or

Store Items - Auctions

or

Mixed togther
