I have the ability to order special itmes that require a 2-3 week delivery window. Since I do not actually have them in inventory, but must purchase them, Is there a way to offer them for sale without having on-hand inventory in the storefront ?

I'm not sure how you would offer them for sale without actually displaying the item in your Store. Do you mean you want to display something in your Store that cannot actually be purchased until you have on-hand inventory?
