Hi,
Just recently open a Vendio Store. Playing around with it, I found something that just isn't right. Why is the customer allowed to change the quantity of an item to a greater value than what is available???
Reading another thread about this, posted a while back, it was stated that they won't be able to actually confirm the order if the quantity ordered is not available.
Why can't the customer be told as soon as they try to change the quantity. To have a buyer go all way through to the last page of check-out and then be told is probably one of the fastest ways to lose a customer. Is there any plans to change this? Hopefully with the pending revamping of the Vendio Stores that might take place?
I'm sorry to say, if it stays this way I will have no choice but to close my store. I do not want to appear that unprofessional to my customers.
Thank you.
Sorry for the troubles. Unfortunately, there isn't anything I can do to fix this issue. However, since many of the improvements to our systems are based on customer feedback, I will be happy to pass your message along to the product manager for evaluation.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any other questions or comments.

OH NO!! the dreaded will pass your message on to the deep, dark, never to surface again, product manager futile residence.
Seriously Bob, thanks for responding but I am absolutely baffled at how Vendio can have a product like SMIE and have this type of check-out procedure in the stores.
Maybe I'm wrong to be upset about this. I don't know. I do know if I was a customer and wanted two of something, went through the process of 2 or 3 pages entering my shipping address and such, getting a total with combine shipping, then at the very last minute,.....opps sorry this seller only has 1, this would infuriate me.
I'm hoping some Vendio store owners will respond to this thread. Has this been a problem for you? Am I wrong to be concern about this? Thanks in advanced to anybody that has something to share.
