Hi,
I'm new to Vendio and I thought about opening up a store for my merchandise. I went to the Community board to see if there was a forum for questions and such and I found one about Stores. When I read the comments I became hesitant about opening up a store. There seem to be problems that I don't want to deal with right now. I have a store on Ebay and I thought about closing that one for a store on Vendio. Will the problems that were addressed in the forum be fixed any time soon? Will the members get an email letting them know the stores were revamped? Or even better...has the problem been fixed by now?
By the way, I tried to put an ad on Vendio yesterday but it was impossible to get through the maze for my ad to appear that I cancelled and gave up. Why do you make it so difficult??
What problems are you referring to, specifically? These help forums aren't used by everyone so please don't think that stores are riddled with problems.
The create listing pages are condensed into two pages -- one where you choose category and another where you enter in all information. You may want to review our Getting Started Lists, which are available in a printable PDF format. You will find this underneath the Knowledgebase on the Help page, which you can access by clicking the Help link on the upper righthand side of the page. Below is the URL for the Help page:

Sonya....Thanks for the info. I now opened up a store but for the life of me I can't figure out how to add items! I'm really not dumb but somehow I feel dumb and dumber when it comes to listing my items on Vendio. I have no problems with Ebay, Yahoo or Amazon.....
After I opened my store Vendio told me my Ebay items would be added within 2 hours...it's been 2 days and the store is still blank. I need HELP with adding items to my Vendio store, either totally new items that I want to sell or moving items from Ebay over to Vendio. I have a feeling it's simpler than I think but right now my brain is fried and I'm at a total loss. Can you HELP me, Sonya,or whoever, to get started? If I can't add items there is no need for me to keep my store.

Hi there,
Thank you for writing. To convert your eBay listings into Vendio Store listings, please follow the steps below.
1. If the listings were not created in Vendio, and do not exist in your Vendio Sales Manager account, you will need to import them. You may use the "Import" tool in Sales Manager to do this (note that Import is intended for one-time use.) You will find the Import tool under the "Import/Track" link in the left navigation bar. Before running the import, please be sure that your eBay ID information is entered correctly on our site, as your listings will not import if this information is not up to date.
2. Once your items are imported, to convert active listings to Vendio Store items, follow these steps:
- Click the 'Copy' button next to the listing (this will copy the listing to your Pending file.)
- Click the title of the copied item in the pending listings section (you may need to click the 'All Pending' link in the lefthand navigation bar to display all items.) You will now be on the Create/Edit Listing page.
- At the bottom of the page, you will see Vendio Store options. Simply fill out the correct options for your Vendio store and SAVE. You do NOT need to LAUNCH in order for it to appear on your Vendio Store. Simply saving the item will create an inventory item that will serve as your Store listing.
- Once the item is saved, you will find it in your Sales Manager Inventory, where you will be able to continually manage the item status and information.
3. For items that have closed, follow these steps:
- Select the closed items (again, you may need to click the 'All Closed' link in the lefthand navigation bar to display all items.)
- Click the 'Resubmit' button.
- Individually, click the 'Edit' link next to each item, and fill out Vendio Store options and SAVE. Once again, it is NOT necessary to launch the items. Once you've saved each item, it will appear in your Sales Manager Inventory and can be managed from there.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
