We normally offer 10 photos for each of our ebay auctions. Now with the fee increase, we are wanting to move our inventory into a Vendio store. Problem with this is the 4 photo limit.
Is this something that can be changed? If not, we may need to start looking for an alternative selling solution.

I have the same problem and need the ability to upload up to 30 images. Can I cut and paste the URL for the additional scans (beyond 4) into the description? Please advise if there is ANY way to add photos. I want to reenergize my store to help with internet sales. Chuck
It is only the Merchandising Edition of the Sales Managers that have a limit of 4 images for items in inventory.
Our newer Inventory Edition of the Sales Manager program does not have any restrictions to the number of images you can attach to an inventory item.
To check out the Inventory Edition of the program, go to the Help page and click to view the audio visual walkthrough.
Note that there is no cost difference between the programs, its just a question of which would work better for your selling habits.

Our inventory is unique in that it is ever changing. We do not buy mass quantities of inventory and simply sell exact replicas.
We buy and sell camera equipment, so there are times when we are selling 3 of the exact item, but the actual cost of the item is probably different in each case.
Inventory addition does not apply to our business model. Is there a way to change this, or at least a reason behind why we are restricted to 4 photos?
While we do have a number of sellers using the Inventory Edition even for their unique type listings, we do understand if you do not feel that the format will work for you and your current needs.
Unfortunately the only workaround at this time to place additional images in your SMME inventory would be using the URL/HTML code pasted into the description field.

This is really annoying...if an ebay auction item can have up to 10 photos and the inventory addition can support unlimited images for store items, why the restriction on the merchandising addition?
It seems to us Vendio has the limits backwards. If you’re going to place a limit on the store item images, would it not make more sense to limit the inventory addition? Most sellers using the inventory addition are selling new items. When someone is purchasing something new, they expect it to be in mint condition; therefore, they do not need the reassurance through the help of additional photos.
The merchandising addition is geared for unique items, correct? Unique meaning hard to find, and in most cases used. When buying used items, customers want to know (and see) as much information as possible before purchasing. Are we wrong for thinking this way? Surely, we cannot be the only sellers who are struggling with this.
We use sales manager pro to list our items, so the inventory addition will not work for us.
Why is this so difficult to address? Can we please have an explanation to the 4-photo limit? We are fully aware of adding the html by hand, but that defeats the whole purpose of why we switched to Vendio in the first place, and that was to simplify the listing process.
Vendio is an overall great service, but man are there some bonehead restrictions that need to be addressed, one being the search feature for this forum and another is the ability to calculate true shipping cost for each transaction .
