Just how much of an engineering feat would be required to include language translation in the Vendio store. Sure might help with International sales. Is this possible?

After some searching, I found this translator which was in bar form. What problems will the following link create?

<iframe title="Online Translation Powered by Applied Language Solution" src="http://www.appliedlanguage.com/translate.aspx?sourcel=en&iindex=3&col=&id=d3d3LmtvemVyc2t5LmNvbQ==" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" style="width:500px;height:30px;"></iframe>

I placed the link within one of my item descriptions and it worked quite well. Any comments?

Oh, the ideal place for this translator bar would be on my home page in the tagline/motto area, that way, a buyer could easily locate the translator, and translate each page. However, guess what? There is not enough space to place the script for the link in that area of the front page.

Of course, it could be located beneath the Sample Items area, if you could make the space available.

I'll wait for Vendio's OK before placing the link in individual item descriptions.

Hello,

When adding your own custom HTML code to your listings, the only problems that you could create would be with the shopping cart functions.

Add the code to a few of your listings, then check to be sure you can both add the item to your cart, as well as add additional items to the cart (without losing the first.)

If that works, double check that it works properly both in Internet Explorer and FireFox (or Netscape) to be sure it doesn't work in one and fail in the other. (as sometimes IE will have problems where Netscape/FireFox will not.)

You are correct in that there isn't usually enough room in the tagline/motto or 'about me' pages of the storefront for custom HTML code.

Regards,
Christopher
