Hi All,
I'm really confussed on setting up my store. Only one item is showing in my inventory. I've imported all of my ebay listings and listed 3 items. I set up some catagories but have only 1 item in my inventory. My ebay items show as Active, but not in the inventory where I can move them into a catagory. What am I doing wrong? Can I move ebay imported ebay listings into catagories or do I need to make them Vendio Listings? Oh I'm so confussed.
Thanks,
Julie

Hello Julie,
Great questions. In order to add a Buy Now item to your Store, the listing must first exist in your Sales Manager Inventory. You may use an existing item, or create a new listing.
Once the listing has been created in Inventory, click into the Basic Information screen. On the second line, you will see a Qty Available field. Make sure that the number of items in that field matches the total number of items of that specific inventory item that you have. **Please note - if you have only one item, please DO NOT list it for auction and in your Store - Vendio Store items are completely separate from any auction that may be running.
Once you have specified the number of items under Qty Available, scroll down to the bottom of the page where you will see a section titled Storefront Information. In this section, you will need to categorize the item (note that Storefront categories do not match eBay's categories), enter the price, and enter the quantity that you want displayed available in your Storefront. To enter the quantity, you will need to use the small up/down arrows next to the Qty In Storefront field as this field does not accept numerical text entries.
Once you have completed the above steps, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "Save" button. Once saved, your item should appear in your Store (please refresh the page if you do not see the item.)
To convert your eBay Store listings into Vendio Store listings, please follow the steps below.
1. If the listings were not created in Vendio, and do not exist in your Vendio Sales Manager account, you will need to import them. You may use the "Import" tool in Sales Manager to do this (note that Import is intended for one-time use.) You will find the Import tool under the "Import/Track" link in the left navigation bar.
2. Once your items are imported, to convert active listings to Vendio Store items, follow these steps:
- Click the 'Copy' button next to the listing (this will copy the listing to your Pending file.)
- Click the title of the copied item in the pending listings section (you may need to click the 'All Pending' link in the lefthand navigation bar to display all items.) You will now be on the Create/Edit Listing page.
- At the bottom of the page, you will see Vendio Store options. Simply fill out the correct options for your Vendio store and SAVE. You do NOT need to LAUNCH in order for it to appear on your Vendio Store. Simply saving the item will create an inventory item that will serve as your Store listing.
- Once the item is saved, you will find it in your Sales Manager Inventory, where you will be able to continually manage the item status and information.
3. For items that have closed, follow these steps:
- Select the closed items (again, you may need to click the 'All Closed' link in the lefthand navigation bar to display all items.)
- Click the 'Resubmit' button.
- Individually, click the 'Edit' link next to each item, and fill out Vendio Store options and SAVE. Once again, it is NOT necessary to launch the items. Once you've saved each item, it will appear in your Sales Manager Inventory and can be managed from there.
I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
