Customer bought 3 of my store items and checkout tripled insurance from $1.35 to $4.05.
ORDER 900422592

This happens on the odd occasion for store purchases or when a store purchase is combined with an ebay.

I also had a customer buy 3 items from my ebay store and was charged 3 insurance charges on the combined invoice and there was no way for me to overide and/or change it. Also, I had posted a week or so ago about the Froogle feeds of Vendio store items. Is it normal for it to take days or weeks before your items show up in Froogle search? I have a few of my earliest store items that will show up, but items I put in the Vendio store in the last week or two still are not appearing. Anyone have any idea how long it should take? BTW, I'm doing a complete title search. Thanks.....

Hello Beth,

"1923 Chevrolet Ad See Children Safely School"
This item is saved in inventory with a fixed cost for insurance listed as $1.35.

"1923 Chevrolet Motor Car All Outdoors Can be Yours Ad"
This item is saved in inventory with a fixed cost for insurance listed as $1.35.

"1923 Chevrolet Ad The Hill Climber Photo"
This item is saved in inventory with a fixed cost for insurance listed as $1.35.

Since each item was stored with a fixed cost to be used to insure that item, that was the amount charged on each individual item.

You can edit these items in inventory to use calculated insurance instead. Then as long as the items can be combined to ship together (they all have a unified shipping method being used) the insurance can be calculated based on the total cost of all items.

Regards,
Christopher

queenofcollectibles - once a buyer confirms a sale through the Vendio storefront, there are no changes that you could make to the total cost of shipping/insurance.

You would need to go back through the storefront and create a new order using the corrected totals instead.

As for Froogle.com, that is pretty typical. It varies a lot as its dependant on how backed up they are currently, but it can take anywhere between just a few days to a few weeks to see the most recent listings appear.

Christopher

There used to be a glitch with calculated insurance. You could not list from SM Pro to eBay or your store unless you put fixed insurance. Also, since I have about 9000 items in inventory, manually changing these would be a tad carpal. Also note, that this is random, it does not happen all the time.
Thanks tho.
