Two out of every three buyers who try to purchase goods from our Vendio store wind up with two of the same item in their cart. They want to put something in the cart and keep shopping, but they can not get back to the original item to check out.

Will Vendio ever allow us to send an invoice for an item that was purchased from Vendio stores? This would at least allow us to get the buyer back to the check out for the original item they tried to purchase while they were browsing the store.

How about being able to send reminders to pay for Vendio store Items. Try to send a reminder and all you get is an error message saying this can't be done because this item is not an auction item.

Will Vendio ever make Vendio stores so we can market for ourselves Like making use of keywords and meta search. Maybe I'm not seeing the whole picture here but this whole shop zilla and yahoo paid search thing for a eBay friendly landing page of our items is a rip off. Why not create a landing page for items at eBay with a simple click through to Vendio store and make the Vendio store functional for us to use and market on our own.

Is there anything I can do to make the shopping experience easier on the buyer who wants to put an item in the cart and keep shopping, but now can not get to the item they put in the cart to complete check out. This has been an ongoing problem.

Hello Harriett,

As I'm sure that you've read on every other post in this section, there are going to be changes to the store area coming soon. I'll be happy to forward on your particular suggestions and updates to the store area.

I'm not sure how you find the Inventory Publisher feature a rip off when you are provided the service at no cost. There is a 2 click away minimum rule from all ebay listings. A one click option directly to your store would be great, if we could we would add the ability today.

I'm inside your store at the moment and have no problems selecting items for purchase and then continuing shopping. If your buyers hit checkout, then that's finalizing a purchase. If those buyers try and go back to shopping after a purchase, then that cart has been finalized.

Regards,

Ed

Rip-off might have been a bit harsh. I was not implying that Vendio was charging to offer these services. Where do you see shopzilla and yahoo search marketing for free. What i see is pay per click accounts to set-up. The only free feed i see is froogle or google base feed.

It would be nice to have the ability to market Vendio store and store pages and items around these pay per click feeds on shopzilla and yahoo search marketing. not just keywords and items.

Where can I find the differences in the different store plans you offer now?

$4.95-1%per item

flat rate plans

$9.95-0.20per item
14.94-0.10per item

Vendio store Average
Items sold under $10.00
Items sold over $20.00
Items sold over $10.00

Could their be a possibility that a FTP or RSS feed for Vendio stores might be made available for our use?

Yes you are right as far back as the dates in this Vendio store forum goes there has been talk about changes coming soon for Vendio stores.

Yes I do understand the double click method eBay requires to get off eBay to view other items.

I'm sorry, I can't help the fact that i still deal with one or two customers a month that do not understand the check out with Pay Pal or they wonder out of check out and and wind up trying to purchase the same item again. I'm sure you have read back in this thread and seen this same problem reported before. But you guys seem to take offense and stand a defensive ground with this subject, instead of doing anything about it. It would be nice to work on attracting more traffic to Vendio stores, but the trade off is more problems with buyers checking out and we can't invoice them manually.

I get to deal with them and walk them through the payment process and explain why i had to send a funds request from pay pal and you deal with my FVF refund requests every month.

And there is still a problem in that we can not send an invoice to any buyer from Vendio store front. And some times i can send a reminder to pay and most of the time I can not. We get an error message telling us the item selected is not an auction item.
