Can a customer enter and pay with a credit card via the checkout if we have a PayPal Web Payments Pro Merchant Account?

Hello,

Not at this time, we can only process the PayFlowPro payments directly through the checkout system, not the new website payments pro service.

You can however contact paypal and ask to be included in their new beta system for using the PayFlowPro gateway with your existing website payments pro service. (for the same fee, for now.)

If you switch to using your paypal account as the merchant for the payflowpro service, you can process credit card transactions directly through your Vendio checkout.

Regards,
Christopher

Does ProPay allow customers to pay directly through the Vendio checkout?

Hello,

Propay does not allow your buyers to pay directly through Vendio checkout. However, if you use Propay and you enter your Propay ID on our site, we will notify you when a buyer checks out to let you know you need to send an invoice.

Regards,
Nathan

datakyar - I use ProPay for credit card processing. It is an extra step, but my customers who used it did not seem to mind.

The buyer would complete the checkout process as usual. My checkout is through Vendio. You would then go to the Propay website to send an ProPay invoice to the buyer. You provide the item #, buyer's email address, and amount of the sale.

Propay sends email invoice to the buyer, who then clicks secure link, to provide credit card info.

That's it. The money is available at your ProPay account. The cash in the ProPay account can be transferred to your bank account.

Take a look at Google Checkout. No monthly fee and transactions fees are the lowest around. Only downside I can find is the only process US residents.
