Are coupons tied to email addresses? I want to create a coupon that I can distribute on business cards, flyers, message boards, etc. and won't necessarily have someone's email address to fill in when I'm creating them. Can I just use my own email address and post the resulting code where I need to (and is that the right procedure)?

Hello,

You could just send the coupon to your own email address, just so you can generate the Discount Coupon ID - then use this coupon ID to give your potential buyers. Just be sure to set the coupon to be allowed to be used a number of times as by default it would only allow that code once.

Make sure to use the 12 characters under the coupon id. Not the coupon Title that you used to create the coupon.

Is there any way to rename the coupon id to something that I want to call it??

Hello,

At this time there are no options to rename the coupon ID field to something else unfortunately.
