Greetings from this newbie/dummy. I am considering purchasing a turnkey store from someone else, but it's very expensive. So if I start up Vendio store, how bad is it to load it with various products. I have the impression it's a nightmare. All input is appreciated.

Hello,
Putting items for sale in your storefront couldn't possibly be any easier really. If you can decide on a price to charge for the item, write up a little description for it and have an image of the item (or can take one) - then your all set to get started.
When you have time, be sure to go back to your 'store info' page and complete the wizard that will walk you through the initial setup of the storefront.
When your done with the basic initial startup process you can go to your Items page and start entering the items you wish to sell.

Hello, I am also New to the site. My question is similar. I have started designing my store, etc. When I first began I was able to create my desired product type categories, and not I am having a very hard time figuring out just how to click on categories and actually add products under each categorie. Each time I try it, it either does nothing, or simply allows me to edit the photo. For instance, one of my products type categories on my left side panel is "childrens books".... how do I add photos and descriptions of each childrens book that I want to sell? its very confusing , Thanks

Hello,
When you are editing your categories, this is the only thing you can do from here - edit categories.
You enter your items that you want to list into those categories from your My Items page (via the 'Items' tab at the top of your account.)
Once your categories are setup, you will primarily be working from the Items page - as this is where you create/edit/manage the items your selling. You wouldn't have to go back to the categories page unless you needed to change the categories you have available to list to.
