Hello Joseph,
You will likely need to enable the advanced mode on the store editor in order to add your own custom HTML code to the store.
Click the 'Advanced' menu at the top of your store editor, then check the box to enable advanced mode. This will make it where you can select an area on your storefront template and click to edit the code being used as needed (to edit what's there or add your own to it.)
