Hello,
I think I screwed up. I got approved for Paypal Website Payments pro to accept Credit Cards (CC). But when I went to my profiles, it says only Auth.Net or Payflow pro are accepted.
I want to keep customers on my site and not have to have them jump to paypal and create and account or anything.
Website payments Pro allows me to accept CC's tho.
Is there no integration with Paypal for their Website Pro?
Is the only way I can get customers to be able to use credit cards is by an Auth.Net or Payflow account?
Paypal tech support said that Vendio supports Payment Pro. I want to keep everything in house and DONT want to sell on eBay.
That is correct, you will need to ask PayPal to switch your account over to the PayFlowPro platform instead of the Website Payment Pro service that you have now, as PayFlowPro is the one that were setup to support at this time.
If you call them you can ask to set it up where Paypal is the processor, so you don't need your own merchant account (and so it basically works just like the Website Payments Pro version.)
Once you do they will give you a merchant ID, username and password and you can store these in your payment profile, to start taking credit cards directly in your storefront without having to go to another site like PayPal to complete the process.
