Hello. If I add a vendio store to my own website, can the entire store/checkout process be done within my own website? My concern is that my vendio account name won't match my website which obviously would cause confusion.

Hello Randy,
Is this for your Vendio account "sputcomodern", or do you have a second account with us? Your account "sputcomodern" is unfortunately in the old version of our services, and it is not possible to do this. If you also have an account in the newer version of our services, and you install the Vendio Store on your own domain, then your own domain would be displayed to the buyer throughout the checkout process.

I guess that is a good question...
I did sign up also for "sputco", but that account is not activated. Is that a "new" account? For some reason, I thought I signed up for Andale with that account name. If I can't use that account, is there any way to delete "sputco" from the system so that I can still use that name?
I wish vendio would clean up the mess with "old" vs "new" accounts and just update the old accounts instead of reinventing the wheel. That would make transitioning much less time consuming. I hate reinventing the wheel. My obvious concern is that Vendio will invent a new system that will require me to close down what is now considered the "new system" to use a "newer system".

Hello Randy,
The account "sputco" is also an old style of account. Unfortunately, it is not possible to reuse account usernames. You would need to use a completely new username in order to open a new account with the new version of our services. We are working on putting a system in place where you would be able to migrate an existing account to the new version of our services, but unfortunately I do not have any eta available.

ok... one last question. is there anything i should do to make sure i open a "new" account?
i know it seems obvious, but i opened an adale account under sputco and ended up not being able to use the name i opened it with because of the changes made and the difference between andale and aw were signficant. something that has been eating at me since 1st attempting to set it up.
As long as you are not reopening an already existing account (and you are creating a completely new username), then the account will be in the new style. Please let us know should you have any trouble with this.
