When I print an invoice, in the from name and address section (the part that has my address, not the customer info), I can't figure out where my name is coming from. It shows my ebay id, which I am not using in my store. I'm trying to figure out where I can change it.

I figured out that my phone number comes from the account and billing info section, because I changed it there and it changed in the packing slip.

Hello,

In order to make this change, please edit the business name in your default policy profile. To do this, please go to "Items" --> "Profiles" --> "Policies" --> click to edit the first policy profile in the list --> then edit the "Business Name" field. Please let us know should you continue to have trouble with this after making that change.

Thanks. It seems strange that it is in the policy profile under items. Does that field get used at all for ebay listings (just the listing part, I don't print packing slips for ebay sales)? I don't want to change it and mess up anything I do on ebay.

Hello,

That field is used mostly for the post-sale features. So it should be okay. The first policy profile in your account is the "default policy profile", so it is the only profile where you will need to set the business name field correctly.

Hello,

I apologize for the confusion. Please disregard my last reply. This field unfortunately does appear in the eBay listings. Whatever is entered into the business name field of your default policy profile is used for your invoice, however, regardless of which policy profile is associated with the item.

In other words, please do not make any changes to your "Normal Ebay Policy" policy profile, and instead edit the "Business Name" field of your "Normal Profile" policy profile, and it should work correctly for you.

Hi,

I am having the same question. The pack slip is printing my name instead of my company. I have three policies created but not sure which one is the default. I modified all three to add the Business Name. However, the packing slip still displaying my name. Do I miss anything? Please help. Thanks!

Hello Jason,

There have been some changes to how this works since the last post in this message thread. To make this change please go to "Preferences" (at the top right of most pages in your Vendio account) and select "Orders" from the drop-down box at the top of the page. Then scroll down to the Packing Slip section and select "From my Policy Profile" instead of "From my Vendio Account contact information" for the "Include Contact Information" field.

Hi Nathan,

Thanks for the information. I followed your instruction and changed the settings. However, the area in packing slip used to print my name and address now becomes blank. And my name is still remained on the Shipping Label.

I noticed the "Business Name" exists in different area:

1. Stores-> Info & Policies-> Business Name
2. Items-> Profiles-> Policices-> Business Name

I have all of the area filled in the company name but still no luck. Please help!

Hello Jason,

I checked the packing slip for the only order currently in your account that is ready to ship, and I do see that your business name is showing at the top of the packing slip. It looks like this was a test order where you used your own name to order the item. Are you sure that when you are seeing your name it isn't in either the bill or ship to sections?

In regards to the shipping label, the only way to change this is to edit the contact information in your Vendio account, unfortunately.

Thanks for your help! I changed the contact information and the shipping label displays correctly!

For the packing slip, I just realize the changes affect new orders only. Now the correct name is showing on the new packing slips.
