I have my own domain name on go daddy. Is there any way I can hook it up without having linux or transferring my domain to vendio?


is it free to tranfer to vendio?

Hello TRIPPYhippie,

If you would like to continue using your current web hosting provider, then all you will need to do is log in to your Vendio account and go to "Stores" --> "Name and Domain" --> "Already have a domain?". Then click the link for "instructions", download the small file, and follow the steps.

Vendio charges no fees for this.

Yes, however it says i must use linux in order to do this. I have had no success on firefox with my mac

Hello,

They just mean the server that your uploading the installer.php file to, not your own operating system.

If you have a webhosting account with godaddy it should work fine, just upload it to your root directory if that is where you want the store to appear and then execute it according to the directions.
