Hello,

Registering just a domain name without a monthly hosting service does not get you regular email account access. That said, you can use Google Apps to setup email addresses for a domain name you own, and we can assist you with that process if you go that route (as once you register your Google Apps account, you'll need some settings done at your domain name to point it to your email) - Note that using Google Apps for your domain email WILL give you a ****@yourdomain.com address, not a gmail email address.

Regards,
Chris

Is the ***@yourdomain.com address free like the @gmail email addresses?

Hello,

Yes, if you do the Google Apps solution that I mentioned above to get email for your domain - the Google Apps registration is totally free.

Chris

I have created an email address, how do I adjust the settings to allow it to work?

Hello,

At one point Google should ask you to put a TXT file in your domain name's host records to confirm ownership. Please use the "Request Support" form to send us the code and we'll install it into your domain name for you.

Regards,
Nathan

Also can you point my naked domain name to my www.domain name please? Here is the text from Google.

Changing the A-record for your domain

Your domain's A records are managed by your domain host. You can utilize an A record to direct your naked domain web address to another URL at your domain.

Note: Instructions vary by domain host and A records are not supported by Google. Please contact your domain host directly if the general instructions below don't apply to you.

1.

Sign in to your domain hosting service.
2.

Navigate to your DNS Management page. i.e. Domain Management, Advanced Settings.
3.

Locate the A record settings and create a new A record.
4.

Enter a value for the host name. For some domain hosts, the value '@' corresponds to the naked domain.
5.

Enter the following IP addresses as the destination value:

216.239.32.21
216.239.34.21
216.239.36.21
216.239.38.21
6.

Save changes with your domain host.
7.

Click "I've completed these steps" below.

I am having the same issue with the Google search. It list the old store's web address before I got my own domain name. When you select the link it takes you to the Vendio store page. Some items do not show up at all.
Thanks

Hello,

Google does appear to be having an issue with accepting the feed's with your domain URL. It has been verified and claimed here already, so we have asked our engineers to check into it further for you and will report back when more information is available.
