When I attempt to enter the dimensions I have been given into the Calculated Shipping fields, I keep getting this:
'Your item doesn't specify the package weight and dimensions, which are mandatory for the selected shipping profile.
Please go to the Item Info section and fill in the package weight and dimensions in the Calculated Shipping area.
(If you don't see any Item Info section, go to the Marketplaces tab and check the Inventory checkbox).'
1) Sometimes I have 2 dimensions instead of 3. How do I void one of the boxes since I have nothing to put in it?
2) Sometimes the item weight is 2 lbs instead of 2.5 lbs. How do I enter the weight when it is lbs only?
3) What exactly am I to put in Shipping Weight? Will it effect the calculated costs if I leave it blank?
1. If you are shipping something that is flat (like a letter), so that you only have two dimensions, then please enter 0 for the third dimension.
2. You can just enter the 2 into the first box and 0 into the second box, if the weight is 2 lbs exactly.
3. The shipping weight is the weight of the package itself that you are shipping (the item plus the packing). This field is required when using calculated shipping.

Ok, I am using a drop-shipping place and I don't know how much the products weigh when they are to be shipped out. So what do I do for that?

You will need to charge the buyers something during the checkout process, and you'd likely need to check with your drop shipper to see what types of shipping methods they use and what they will be charging you for the shipping of these items. Some sellers who list from a drop shipping service will go to fixed shipping costs to be sure they can cover their costs.
