In setting up my web store and using other Google products like analytics, checkout, and apps. I also tried to use Webmaster Tools and Merchant Services. The webmaster tools still reports no data for several days. While attempting to set up merchant center it appeared that I would need to take over ownership of the site of vendio's current ownership. I have had issue's with store items not showing up or showing up with the wrong address linked when performing a Google search. I have other post's in the community center over this topic. My questions is, if I use the merchant center do I interfere with tasks performed by Vendio to try to accomplish the same goal; which is to have my items show in Google searches? And can you provide any info as to why webmaster tools would report no data, or any other beneficial info available on either of these Google service? Thanks for your help.
Yes, if you claim and verify your domain name in your own merchant center account - Google will then see it claimed in two different places and the feed we send to them will fail to be accepted.
Unfortunately I cannot speak to how the webmaster tools are supposed to be setup and work, but the store does have a pre-set location for your Google Analytics code and this should be able to track data after being installed for a few days.
Google apps and checkout should not conflict either - it's only the Merchant Center that would be a problem. We'll followup in your other threads for those issues.
