Hello Nathan, I have tried to manually claim my URL for google shopping and it fails me every time even though I know the analytics code is there. Is there any way you can claim it for me? Also, is it possible for you to check if my feed is working properly as I have had very little traffic via google.

Thanks in advance

Hello,

You will not want to claim the URL in your own Google merchant services account, if you set one up, as it would then be shown as managed under two different accounts and then reject your feed.

If however your using the Google webmaster tools and just want to claim the URL for that, they should give you a different line of code for the store separate from your Analytics code for verification.

I checked the status of your feed and currently Google is accepting and displaying all 107 submitted items, and your domain name has been claimed and verified.

Regards,
Chris

Ok, I have the snippet from Webmaster tools. Would you point this noobie as to where it is supposed to be inserted??

Well, I am having very bad results showing up on both google shopping and google search. I have appropriate meta tags, descriptions and keywords as well as my items distributed via comparison shopping. Google analytics also confirms this. What I need to know is what am I doing wrong, if anything, and how can I fix it. I really need to improve our store's visibility.

Hello,

If you haven't already, the best place to check is our Search Engine Optimization Guide. You may locate it within your Vendio account by going to "Stores" --> "Info & Policies" --> then click the link for "SEO Guide" near the bottom of the page.

Regards,
Nathan

So I've optimized about everything I can and distributed items etc. My question is how come every time I go to distribute my new items all or most the old ones are listed as paused?

Hello,

I apologize for the confusion. Please distribute the items by going to "Channels" --> "Comparison Shopping" --> "Manage Items" (rather than "Distribute Items" ). From the "Manage Items" page set the items to be Active and save the changes. This should then distribute the items to Google.

Regards,
Nathan
