I sell some heavy/bulky items that I can only ship 1 piece at a time. I have either a fixed shipping price or calculated shipping profile used depending on the listing. I have the order preference set to no combined shipping discount. This was working perfectly so that it would be the same price if someone order 2 different items in one single order or 2 separate orders.
However, I recently added some light items. I used fixed rate shipping. $12 for first and $3 each additional item. Turns out that because of the no combined shipping in order preference, if someone order 2 light items from different listing, they pay $12+$12 instead of $12+$3.
So is there a way to allow combined shipping for some and not others?
There is a box within each of your shipping profiles that is labeled "Can be combined with other items for shipping". Please try checking this box for the shipping profile that you are using for the light items, and see if that helps. If it does not, please let us know an example order number so that we can take a closer look.
