There are some templates that won't work with the variations if changes were made to them prior to variation support was released. Applying another template or re-applying the template you have now in it's original state would correct the issue, however we have asked the engineering team to simply patch the one you have now so it works going forward.
As soon as possible they will run a script that will enable the variations for you.

I'm having a similar issue, except I was using variation just fine up until who-knows-when. Now they don't seem to be showing up on my website. Additionally, all variation images were removed except for my 5 most recent additions. (All images are the same.) Why is this?
We have asked the engineers to check on the issue with your variations not showing up in the storefront and get back to you with their findings once available.
Unless you made any recent changes to the store design, or edits to the items themselves around the same time that this error began - there doesn't appear to be any reason why they would have stopped showing up and available to select.

There were no edits to the items except the addition of new variations. The only change to the storefront was the addition of a new page, which I did through the template editor (as opposed to doing it manually). I'm not sure if the issue took place immediately after either of these changed, since I only noticed it since yesterday.
There is apparently an issue with using a single quote in an attribute name, so the engineers patched your template and the attributes should now be available to select in the live store. (I checked and the drop down menu's were showing the different fragrance options)
