How is it possible that shoppers on a vendio site do not see an acknowledgement that their item has been added to the shopping bag or cart? There are no modern web sites out there that do not show some acknowledgement. On a Vendio site, you order an item and you see no message. Compared with other sites, it gives the impression that the "add to cart" is not working. If a shopper is patient, they can click on their shopping cart to see if the item was added. In today's world, shoppers are not patient because they are used to instant responses on the internet. And, they have options. If one site seems difficult to maneuver, they can shop elsewhere with the click of a button. When we asked Vendio to fix this programming defect, the answer is that they cannot.
That design flaw or defect makes for a very primitive retail web site. I continue to be frustrated by Vendio's limitations.

Thank you for writing in. The Vendio store template editor allows you to display the shopping cart widget in all the Vendio store pages. Your buyers can simply drag and drop the items they wish add to the cart on to this widget. This Widget indicates to the buyers items that are present in the shopping cart.
Also the Vendio store front end is customizable and if you want a specific notification like a pop up you could have this custom feature included by having a third party web designer help you with this.
