This is in regard to source code, my html - and therefore a bit technical.

I am aware from your previous answer to my inquiry that essentially Google now sells access. That being said, on the occasion when I test searching Google for a particular dvd title I\'m selling, the google response often returns “http://shop.vendio.com/forceten32/cart.html ?”. The title of the dvd is not prominent in their response.

Let me divert here.

I use html (I\'m self taught) on all my dvd sales pages. I used to think that the <H1> tag was simply a sizing tool. I use it sometimes and others I use other methods to size fonts.

Recently, to my surprise, I\'m told that <h1> is valuable in optimizing for search engines. Books are written on the subject.

Using my Chrome “inspect”, “http://shop.vendio.com/forceten32/cart.html ?” tops the source code on every dvd sales page I have, but a search of that code for <H1> does not turn up any even though I did use it.

I realize I am accessing the web through Vendio so there is a lot I don\'t know.

Further, I don\'t want to get bogged down in technicalities. So I need some advice:

Because I am accessing the web through Vendio, does my use of <H1> tags to optimize an outside search matter?

Awhile back a tip from Vendio had me put IBN in the subtitles.

Are there any other tips you can give me about entering data in any given listing to help stand out more to a random search?

For instance, should I add keywords to the title or subtitle? Where should I use keywords?

Does a random search by an engine cover more than what is listed in Chrome “inspect” and therefore I should use <H1> with an eye on an engine eventually reading it.

You would think after 10-15 years of being with you guys I\'d have asked this sooner.

Fritz, thank you for your response.

As to email, I haven't received any from Vendio in a long time. I checked "My Account" and my correct email is reflected under "alternate email".

I think a link is broken somewhere. For instance, I clicked the email notification box should someone reply to a posting in Community - but I will only find out if someone did reply by going to the page.

I just sent an email to "[email protected]" and it was returned as undeliverable.

What am I missing?

In the meantime, could you send the SEO link to my alternate email address?
