A few years ago you notified me that Google was unhappy with how I was presenting my items in my Vendio store. At the time I was involved and didn't follow up. I recall it was fixable. I assumed at the time Google notified you rather than me because you own the site.
A very long illness has delayed my sales efforts but I'd like to get underway again using the Vendio store.
Some of the dvds I carry are essentially gone from the marketplace and would be of interest to collectors but no matter how hard I try, I can't get any searches on Google for them to include my store.
Thank you for writing in.Google used to allow the items to be sent to them with no charge for the service, however they now charge for this service. Please note you are currently on the older version of our services, which does not support this, unfortunately. However, you can open a new account with a new username on the new version of our services, open a paid account with Google and manage the items that you are sending to Google as it would link to your vendio store.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Best regards,
Fritz

Hi Fritz -
Thanks for your quick response.
I am not very big as stores go so I'd need a lead where to go to ascertain Googles rates for the little guy to see if it makes sense. What does Google call this service?

Finally, what was confusing to me is that according to the visit counter in my store, I receive a lot of traffic although I have been visiting the store infrequently due to prolonged illness and I haven't been selling recently - I'm talking hundreds. My quandry is if Google is hardly mentioning me where is this traffic coming from?
Anyway, do I read your last text correctly that if I change my domain name and then point the new domain to the store, I would lose my current status and would come under a new (to me) payment schedule?
Thank you for writing in.Unfortunately we don't have a way of knowing where the traffic is coming from. If you do decide to move to the new version of our services you can integrate your store with Google Analytics, which would provide additional information like this.
In regards to your other query you would need to open a new Vendio account with a new username, and would basically be starting over from scratch, to get the new version of our services. It would be charged based on which of our current service plans you select when opening the new account. However, the new store would be on a different domain from the one you have now, unfortunately.
Best regards,
Fritz
