Hi there, I don't want anything. I want to sell something -- a computer monitor. It seems I can't sell it locally here in Chicago. It's been on the market for 2 months and I get people to call but they don't come view the computer.
So I've decided to put it on the auction block. Problem is, I have to ship the monitor which weighs 15 lb and has to packaged & shipped expertly.
Has anyone shipped a monitor before?
And how do I find out how much to charge for it? Is there a web site that lists the parts prices for computers?
Or do you suggest I keep advertising (free) for the sale?

monitors are usually hard to sell unless it is one of the flat ones or a very large size screen.

check in your area for a computer store that sells on consignement. I would think that would be the cheapest way to do it.

good luck to you.
