I would like to comment about the change a few months ago regarding images that are unavailable. I recently had a buyer that wanted some info from the auction that she had with me and she emailed me telling me what a mess the auction was. I went to look an about died. This is the most unprofessional thing that Auction watch has ever done in all the years I have been with you.
I use background in my auctions and store them on Auctionwatch with the other images for that auction. As soon as the buyer has emailed me and said that their item arrived. I delete all images associated with that auction including backgrounds. I do this to save space for AW and to make it less confusing for me wading through images that are not needed anymore.

I think from now on I will not delete the images until I know for sure that EBay has taken the auction out of their system. This is an unprofessional looking mess that you have created.

Hello wolftreks,
We began displaying the "image not found" gif in place of a missing image because of the increasing number of customers who had missing images in their auctions. The "image not found" gif helps increase visibility for our customers in the event of a missing image, which allows them to correct the listing before it ends.
I am sorry for the inconvenience this creates for you. I'm not sure if you are aware of our 90 day image deletion policy - the unused images will be automatically deleted from our system after 90 days of inactivity.
